FAQ

  • I am a breeder of cavies and I live in a EU country. What do I need to participate in Nitra?
A: You only need a declaration from your vet that the cavies were checked and found to be healthy within 48 hours before departure.
  • I am a breeder of cavies and I don’t live in a EU country. What do I need to participate in Nitra?
A: The same rules as in the previous question apply to you.
  • Do my cavies need to go into quarantine?
A: No, they don’t. However, after returning it is highly recommended to keep them separate from your other cavies for 10 days to make sure they didn’t catch anything at the show that could infect your other animals at home.
  • I am a breeder of cavies. Can I put my animals for sale at the show and can they effectively be sold?
A: Yes, you can. There are no restrictions for selling cavies.
